I ordered prescription inserts for the Steam Frame

overkill Media

From VR Optician : You can now order our Valve Steam Frame prescription inserts. We expect high demand at launch. The shop shows an estimated production time based on our current backlog before you place your order. I ordered some instantly, as this seems the best place in Europe to get prescription inserts for the Steam Frame. I usually don't wear glasses, because I only have a mild astigmatism in my left eye. Normally, the right one compensates well enough, but in VR the blur becomes much more obvious. Also, they will protect the lenses from my way-too-long eyelashes. I paid €86 including shipping.

Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice by Shunryu Suzuki

overkill Media

Book title: Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice Author: Shunryu Suzuki Rating: 4/5 "You just sit in the midst of the problem; when you are a part of the problem, or when the problem is a part of you, there is no problem, because you are the problem itself. The problem is you yourself. If this is so, there is no problem" So, no problem! (Reread since I started meditating again.) You can now reserve a Steam Frame, plus a third-party camera from Arcturus Vision

overkill Media

From Valve: Signups are open now for Valve's new Steam Frame, which launches today in the following options (all prices inclusive of VAT where applicable): Steam Frame 256GB: 1,059 USD / 1,529 CAD / 1,049 EUR / 889 GBP / 1,609 AUD / 4,539 PLN Steam Frame 1TB: 1,299 USD / 1,859 CAD / 1,279 EUR / 1,089 GBP / 1,969 AUD / 5,549 PLN Steam Frame, which includes Half-Life: Alyx , ships directly via Steam in the U.S., Canada, UK, EU, and Australia. Availability and pricing in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong will be announced by KOMODO at around 10:00 AM on the 15th JST. I reserved the 1TB version, so everyone should cross their fingers for me. There are already third-party accessories available, including a 5K passthrough camera from Arcturus Vision. I ordered that one, too. And I have to give it to them. They could just have taken my money and shipped the camera regardless of whether Valve actually lets me buy a Steam Frame. Instead, they only placed a temporary authorization on my card and reserved a camera for me: Once Valve announces the results of its reservation system, Arcturus will let me either pay for the camera and have it shipped early, or cancel the order without being charged. That's how you do it. I already love this company!
