I've seen people say that psn support has had an overhaul to deal with the consistent hacked accounts, but it looks like it's still happening. It's crazy that you barely see any coverage by news outlets either. Something really needs to be done. I've seen a screenshot of a customer support agent in Colombia selling info to hackers but I cannot say how legit it is. set lumen to a fidelity that kills as much noisy/unstable lighting as possible and then build your game around that sunk cost, optimizing around the performance cost of a relatively noise free lumen by reducing mesh complexity/etc the tradeoff there is wickedly impressive lighting making up for whatever was lost in optimizing around it. and good lighting can do a hell of lot of heavy lifting

This is not a "You shouldn't do that thread", it's just a curiosity. For physical, Pre-ordering made sense. it's a tangible item with only a finite amount. So it was possible to miss out on titles or have trouble finding them if you didn't pre-order (Hell, we're seeing that again now with various titles shipping with limited first-print runs). i can get with both but i very much prefer the latter there's something magical about for example playing a classic RE knowing that the zombie you dodged and avoided last time might still be there. and will be there for most of the game. that's my preferred level design, where enemies and environments interact seamlessly and with persistence up to a point

Final Fantasy VII Remake is $10 on Steam
Should I? The only FF game I've played for more than 2 hours is Stranger of Paradise which I have mixed feelings on. Does it need any patches or mods to fix anything up or is it good to go out of the box with no major issues? I'd be playing it on an RX6600 and Ryzen 3600.

I have been trying to find a way to play Arkham Origins for years. Unfortunately, it was never released digitally. Thats a problem since my only two consoles are the Switch 2 and Series S. Gaming year is almost 3/4 done. Did you get enough playing time?
Looking at the games I beat so far this year. I do think so. I beat 4 meaty JRPGs. I throughly mastered two roguelikes (Hades II and Absolum). Those things take time. And managed to beat a big AAA release and almost done with another. I'm not at the peak of gaming consumption powers anymore as an elder millennial. I have to fit other things in too for both pleasure and obligation, but pretty happy so far. Cozy season is starting so I expect to beat some more.

I would buy WAY more switch 2 games if more third party games did cross save.
Double dipped on witcher and cyberpunk for specifically this reason. Despite not really liking the port, I'd have done it for FF7 rebirth. Id do it for so many games. I'm not sure how feasible it is for many reasons. Just saying I'd do it.

For me I really loved Requiem despite it's flaws in the second half. Dawnwalker and Onimusha have made it a three horse race though, with some of the best combat and writing in recent AAA gaming. As someone who loved Three Houses, I think Fortune's Weave could surpass all 3 once I finally get the chance to play through that behemoth of a game.
