Happy 25th Anniversary to the Nintendo GameCube, the Luigi’s Mansion franchise, and Wave Race: Blue Storm

They all came out in Japan 25 years ago. Happy birthday to the console that may not have been the best selling system, but had multiple games that had a huge impact long term on the gaming industry. From cementing Smash Bros as a worldwide industry event any time a new entry comes out, to bringing Animal Crossing overseas and becoming one of Nintendo's top IPs, to bringing to life Miyamoto's beloved Pikmin, to being the first system that had Sonic games, to being the launch system for the... USB port on back of PS5 Slim not charging - cause for concern?

After moving and getting some stuff set up, I am using a USB-C to USB-A cord to charge my PS5 controller. There are two slots for this and I'm realizing one of them doesn't work. The other charges just fine. Is this a common defective aspect? Could there be a risk of other ports on the console dying too? I only have one controller so I only need one port, just wondering if this could be an issue.

Is there any game series more disinterested in/antagonistic to its own title character than Mega Man X?

When designing the series, Keiji Inafune said this about X and Zero: Keiji Inafune said: "Usually, I would be the one doing the main characters, and Kaji would take care of the sub characters. This time, however, we decided to change things up a bit. I asked Kaji to do Mega Man, and I made the sub character, Zero, my project. I'm sure I've said this in may different places in more than a few different ways, but I really wanted Zero to be a playable character. I wanted to offer a 'different Mega Man,' and... StarCraft is a narrative-driven shooter with 'a definitive ending' and 'not a seasonal game'

Based on Inven Global's transcript , it sounds like StarCraft will be a shooter along the lines of the Far Crys, though with a customizable lead character, and not a live service multiplayer game. "If I were to describe the overall structure we currently envision, it's a 'box product,'" said Hay. "It is a narrative-driven open world shooter where players create a character, name them, and follow that character's story. The story has a beginning, a middle, and an end. "You can roam... Which Starcraft do you consider the best across both singleplayer and multiplayer?

So with Blizzcon and Starcraft making somewhat of a return, I'm reminded of the lineage of Starcraft, where you first have Starcraft 1 and Brood War rocking the RTS world in 1998 and establishing the tone and atmosphere of the universe and also establishing the mammoth that is Starcraft e-sports in Korea. Years later, we would be getting Starcraft 2 with first Wings of Liberty, followed by Heart of the Swarm and then Legacy of the Void spread out across several years between 2010 to 2013 to... How should Capcom celebrate Street Fighter's 40th anniversary in 2027?

Wouldn't mind seeing a Digital Eclipse documentary style game collection for the Street Fighter series. Although Capcom internal absolutely should handle the emulation and netcode themselves. IGN Opinion: PlayStation’s Future Has Never Looked Bleaker. The elite-tier single-player console is crumbling.

By Matt Purslow It's impossible to know how PlayStation bosses felt after seeing many critics walk away from Insomniac's Wolverine with an apathetic shrug . A sub-80 on Metacritic is infamously considered a disaster in the triple-A space, and so Sony certainly won't be thrilled, but it would be easy for the company to brush this away as an uncharacteristic miss. People against remakes/remaster: Why?

I'm curious to know because more often than not (if not always) the intent is to grow the audience, bring new players in.
